A tester requires LR and QTP on the same workstation.
The current VLOB's for LoadRunner 8.1.2 and QuickTest Professional 9.5 are incompatible, and must not be installed on the same workstation.
As QTP 9.5 is supported on VMWare, the solution is to install the QTP 9.5 VLOB on a virtual workstation in the MTE environment, and only install the LoadRunner 8.1.2 VLOB on your desktop.
This incompatibility will be corrected when LoadRunner is upgraded to a new version in the future
